Bloomey …. a journey into scents and colors!
​How this journey started....
Colors, scents and essential oils are the primary source of energy and inspiration in our life. Even the colors that we choose for our everyday outfits reflect the mood we are in. 

Approximately two years ago, while being trapped in my thoughts and a little bit unsatisfied with my professional career, I started attending training courses on Aromatherapy and how-to-make your own natural skin care products, as I strongly believe in the power of nature and I am a vegan products lover. I started experimenting on and making my first handmade hand creams and body butters with different scents for me and my friends.

Being excited with my new -until then- hobby, I started spending more and more of my free time on this and showing my products to people who were really impressed by the texture and smell of my handcrafted vegan products! Among them, there was also a fashion designer, I had recently met, getting prepared for an upcoming fashion show. She asked me if I also make soaps, as she was thinking about giving her guests a soap containing fabrics from her promoting collection as a gift. I said “I haven’t dealt much with it but I can look into it.”

As I love fashion & trends observing, that was my big chance and the BIG BEGINNING for me….
I started working on this project and experimenting on handmade soap production in general. After many trials-and also failures-during the production process I managed to make my first soap collection that consisted of 250 pieces of transparent cranberry scented soaps containing fabrics from the designer’s spring collection. The success and positive feedback of my first soap collection made me realize how much the whole creative process of natural soap-making with scents and essential oils had enchanted me, all of them having different beneficial properties for skin, body and mind. So, I continued learning more about it to get improved.

Now I have my own soap collections and nbeauty products with my own brand, Bloomey Handmade that was founded in 2016 and is based in Athens, Greece.

Soaps and other bath and body products are designed by blending different colors and scents or essential oil combinations in order to make products that awaken the senses and revitalize your body and mind. I manage small batches to control the quality and freshness of products. Especially when it comes to soaps, due to their handmade and hand-cut nature, slight differences between items may occur, which makes each soap bar unique
